Room to live

The beautiful open-plan living area located on the villa’s second floor is perfect for cozy moments by the wood-burning fireplace. The large south-facing window invites you to take in breathtaking views of Finland’s largest national park. You’ll also find a large entryway with plenty storage space, a utility room with a private washer and dryer, and a spacious outdoor terrace where you can warm up by the fireplace and be one with nature.

A full and beautiful kitchen

VALO Ice Cube Villas feature a full, luxury kitchen with all the high-end appliances you’ll need, including a dishwasher, oven, kettle, coffee maker and other comforts. You will also find a large wood dining table with space for 10 people and tableware by world-class Finnish design houses.

Dreamy bedrooms

Each VALO Ice Cube Villa has a spacious ground-floor bedroom with a double bed and en suite bathroom. There are also two large studios on the second floor, each with a spacious bedroom with double bed and a heated glass skylight that allows you to admire the northern sky while you relax under the covers. There is also ample closet space and plenty of room to create extra sleeping space, with each villa sleeping 

up to 10 guests.

Let it rain

The large and luxurious spa area is located on the villa’s ground floor and comes equipped with a jacuzzi, double rain shower and Finnish sauna. This room also has a separate toilet. The ground-floor bedroom and studio second-floor studios also have rain showers, toilets and toiletries.

A serene sauna

The sauna is a key feature of Finnish culture and the heart of most Finnish homes, including your VALO Ice Cube Villa. The saunas in our villas are designed to reflect their natural surroundings. Drawn up by a Finnish architect and hand-crafted by local carpenters, each sauna offers spectacular views of the vast Urho Kekkonen National Park.

Refresh, relax and recharge

After a day spent on the ski slopes, hiking the fells, or exploring the village of Saariselkä, it’s time to relax in your villa’s luxurious spa area. Located on the ground floor, this warm and inviting space features a jacuzzi, double rain shower and Finnish sauna. You can also relax and warm up by the outdoor wood-burning fireplace as you take in the view of the breathtaking nature outside your window. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the northern lights.

Lapland and especially the area of Saariselkä offers a wide range of activities for every season. The growing vacation destination has the northernmost ski resort in Europe In summer, it is always light and there is plenty of room for long walks. The rivers and lakes nearby provide a great experience on the water.
